A COMMUNITY BANK FILES APPLICATION 10/22/2003
Osprey, Fl. --- A group of local organizers has filed an application with the State of Florida, Department of Banking and Finance for a charter establishing a new full service community bank. Hank Goldsby is the proposed President of First America Bank. Mr. Goldsby has 30 years of banking experience in both Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
The Bank will service both counties, with its main office being located in Osprey, Florida. First America Bank’s organizational office is located at 3236 Southgate Circle in Sarasota.
The organizers have all served in leadership positions for many years in both Sarasota and Manatee counties. They bring tremendous knowledge and expertise to the new bank. All members of the organizational group believe that there is a need for a full-service community bank with quality products and personalized customer service that provides the personal touch that banking customers deserve. The entire group has a strong sense of commitment and will be actively involved in both communities.
