Manatee/Sarasota County--- First America Bank is pleased to announce the following promotions and position changes to our TEAM:

Tammy S. Thompson has been promoted to Executive Vice President / Operations Executive. Mrs. Thompson has been serving in the financial industry for 24 years. In 2010, she joined First America Bank bringing with her a wealth of operational experience. She most recently served as Vice President / Chief Internal Auditor for the bank.

Hank Goldsby has accepted a new position as Executive Vice President / Market Executive. Mr. Goldsby will be responsible for the business development in Sarasota County. Mr. Goldsby has been with First America Bank since its inception in 2004. He has over 35 years of banking experience in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Jeff Kalaman has accepted the position of Vice President / Risk Management. Mr. Kalaman is a local community banker with over 17 years of experience. Mr. Kalaman specializes in large dollar commercial real estate loans and most recently managed a $70 million commercial loan portfolio.

Jared Paulson has been promoted the Loan Department and will serve as a Consumer Lender.

Kerry Housley has accepted a position in the Loan Operations Department.

Sandy Koch has moved to the Palmetto Banking Center and will assume the role of Retail Banker / Customer Service.

Ashley Remaley has moved to the Ellenton Banking Center and will assume the role of Retail Banker / Customer Service.

Joseph Leggett has been promoted to Assistant Controller for First America Bank
